The OnePlus 8 is slightly better than the Fairphone 5, having a global score of 76 against 75.5. OnePlus 8's construction is lighter and somewhat thinner than Fairphone 5, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. The OnePlus 8's CPU is just as good as the Fairphone 5 one, they have a Octa-Core processor and 8 GB of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has a screen that is just as good as Fairphone 5's display, because although the OnePlus 8 has a quite lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit worse pixel number per display inch, and they both have a screen with the same size, it also counts with a brighter screen. Fairphone 5 counts with a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8, because it has 256 GB internal memory.
OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Fairphone 5, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity. OnePlus 8 has a way better camera than Fairphone 5, because although it has a way tinier camera sensor capturing way lower quality photographs and a back camera with a worse resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited situations.
