Galaxy Note Edge is a bit better than Fairphone 5, with a overall score of 81.7 against 75.5. The Galaxy Note Edge design is lighter and somewhat thinner than the Fairphone 5, despite of the fact that it was released 9 years before. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note Edge has the older 5.0 version while Fairphone 5 has Android 13.
The Fairphone 5 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and 4 more processing cores. Galaxy Note Edge has a little sharper display than Fairphone 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a little higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a quite better display pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a slightly better camera than Fairphone 5, although it has a much lower 16 megapixels resolution camera in the back, a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and video in low light environments and a lot smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and washed colors.
The Fairphone 5 has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage capacity. The Fairphone 5 features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 4200mAh battery size.
