The LG Optimus L9 has a global score of 56.1, which is a little bit better than Gionee Dream D1's score of 51.1. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but LG Optimus L9 has the newer 4.1.2 version and Gionee Dream D1 has Android 4.1 version, offering lots of additional features.
The Gionee Dream D1 features just a bit better processing power than LG Optimus L9, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Gionee Dream D1 also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster). The Gionee Dream D1 has a bit better display than LG Optimus L9, and although they both have a same size screen, the Gionee Dream D1 also has a better 1280 x 720px resolution and a greater pixels quantity per inch in the display.
The LG Optimus L9 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Gionee Dream D1, although it has a lot less MP resolution back facing camera and a worse (Full HD) video quality. The LG Optimus L9 has as much storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as Gionee Dream D1, both of them have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 32 GB and equal 4 GB internal storage capacity.
LG Optimus L9 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Gionee Dream D1, because it has a 2150mAh battery capacity.
