These phones include Android OS, but Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3. Galaxy A8 Star's design is way newer and somewhat thinner than the Google Nexus 5's, but it's also noticeably heavier.
