Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is much better than the Google Nexus 5X, with an 82.2 score against 73.7. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium body is extremely newer, but notably heavier and notably thicker than the Google Nexus 5X. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a quite better performance than Google Nexus 5X, because it has more CPU cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a lot better looking screen than Google Nexus 5X, because it has a lot better 2160 x 3840 resolution, a lot higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a little bigger display. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has much more memory to install games and applications than Google Nexus 5X, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with better battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5X, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots clearer videos and photos than Google Nexus 5X, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same sensor size and the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a way higher resolution camera and a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and videos.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Nexus 5X, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Nexus 5X. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Google Nexus 5X, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
