Comparison review
Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is just a bit better than Google Nexus 6P's 80.3 overall score. The Xperia 5 body is much newer and just a little lighter, but also a little thicker than the Google Nexus 6P. The Sony Xperia 5 features a little better hardware performance than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Google Nexus 6P features a little bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a just a little higher pixel quantity in each inch in the screen. The Google Nexus 6P shoots clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a better resolution camera in the back and a bigger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
The Xperia 5 counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xperia 5 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Google Nexus 6P features a bit longer battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Google Nexus 6P, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Nexus 6P. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Google Nexus 6P, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
