Comparison review
Apple iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 2's general score of 81.6. Even though Apple iPhone 8 and the Google Pixel 2 were released only a few months apart, Apple iPhone 8's construction is just a bit heavier but a bit thinner than the Google Pixel 2.
Google Pixel 2 features a little more vivid screen than iPhone 8, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a little bit bigger display and a better display density. Apple iPhone 8 features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 2, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Google Pixel 2, because although it has less processing cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. Apple iPhone 8 features a little bit better camera than Google Pixel 2, although it has a smaller camera sensor providing a worse image quality, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lower resolution camera in the back, they both have a F1.8 camera aperture.
The Google Pixel 2 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has 2700mAh of battery capacity against 1821mAh.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 8, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 2, letting go some features and specs.
