The Samsung Galaxy A80 is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 2, getting an 84.9 score against 81.6. The Samsung Galaxy A80 design is newer, but somewhat thicker and notably heavier than Google Pixel 2. Galaxy A80's processing unit is just as good as the Google Pixel 2 one, and although the Galaxy A80 has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Google Pixel 2 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater screen density. The Google Pixel 2 and the Samsung Galaxy A80 have very similar memory to store more apps and games, they have the same internal storage capacity.
Galaxy A80 captures much better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A80 also counts with a way more mega pixels camera in the back and a much bigger back camera sensor capturing way higher quality videos and pictures.
Samsung Galaxy A80 features a very superior battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 37 percent more battery size.
