Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 is slightly better than the Google Pixel 4a 5G, having a 94.8 score against 87.5. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S20 has a newer 13 version and Google Pixel 4a 5G has Android 11, so it gives you some nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy S20 is a a bit thinner and a little lighter cellphone than the Google Pixel 4a 5G, even though both were released with only a few months difference.
The Galaxy S20 features a bit superior processing unit than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S20 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a slightly better looking screen than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and a greater pixels number per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy S20 has a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy S20 has a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light photos and video and a camera in the back with a lower resolution, it also counts with a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a lot bigger back camera sensor taking way higher quality videos and photographs.
Galaxy S20 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has a 3 percent greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 4a 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 4a 5G. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Google Pixel 4a 5G, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
