Comparison review
Google Pixel XL is just a bit better than the Huawei P20, having an 81.3 score against 78.1. Even though the Google Pixel XL is a better phone than Huawei P20, we must note that it's also an older, somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier phone. The Huawei P20 counts with a bit better performance than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei P20 also has a greater number of faster cores.
The Google Pixel XL has just a bit better looking display than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. Huawei P20 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, and they both have a 0.43 inches camera sensor, the Huawei P20 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in low light environments.
The Huawei P20's storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to Google Pixel XL's one, both of them have equal internal storage capacity. The Google Pixel XL counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei P20, because it has a 1% larger battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Huawei P20, letting go some features and specs.
