Comparison review
The Google Pixel XL is a little bit better than the OnePlus 8, having an 81.3 score against 76. The Google Pixel XL construction is a bit lighter than the OnePlus 8, although it's just a bit thicker and was released many years before. OnePlus 8 has a little bit better performance than Google Pixel XL, because it has more CPU cores and more RAM.
OnePlus 8 counts with a little bit better looking display than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a little less pixels per inch in the screen and a bit lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger screen. The OnePlus 8's storage to store more apps and games is very similar to Google Pixel XL's one, both have the same internal memory capacity.
OnePlus 8 has improved battery duration than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 4300mAh battery size. OnePlus 8 has a lot better camera than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has faster 60 fps video frame rates, a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution, a larger camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality and a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photos and video.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the OnePlus 8, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
