The Galaxy M40 is much better than Honor 50, getting a global score of 85 against 74.5. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Honor 50 has Android 11. The Galaxy M40 is a much older and just a little thicker phone than Honor 50, but Samsung was able to make it just a bit lighter anyway.
Galaxy M40 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Honor 50, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2340px resolution, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a just a little better pixel amount per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Honor 50, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Honor 50 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Honor 50 also has more RAM. Honor 50 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Honor 50 also counts with a camera with a lot better 108 megapixels resolution.
Honor 50 features longer battery duration than Galaxy M40, because it has a 23 percent larger battery size.
