Galaxy A80 has a general score of 84.9, which is better than Honor 9X Pro's 71.9 overall score. Even being the best we compare here, the Galaxy A80 body is older, just a little thicker and just a bit heavier than Honor 9X Pro. Samsung Galaxy A80 features a screen that is very similar to the display in Honor 9X Pro, although the Samsung Galaxy A80 also has a little larger screen, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit greater pixels density.
The Honor 9X Pro has a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A80, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy A80 and Honor 9X Pro count with very similar CPUs, and although the Samsung Galaxy A80 has more RAM, they both have 8 cores.
Honor 9X Pro captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A80, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, a 0.5 inches sensor and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Honor 9X Pro also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photography in low-light environments and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Honor 9X Pro counts with just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A80, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3700mAh.
