Galaxy Note II is just a bit better than the Honor Note 8, getting a overall score of 71.9 against 65.5. The Galaxy Note II is a way older and extremely thicker cellphone than the Honor Note 8, but Samsung could make it lighter anyway. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note II has an older 4.1 version and Honor Note 8 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Honor Note 8 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Note II, because it has a way higher pixels count per screen inch, a lot higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a larger screen. The Honor Note 8 has a bit superior processor than Galaxy Note II, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
The Honor Note 8 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Honor Note 8 also has a back facing camera with a way better resolution. Honor Note 8 has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because it has 112 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
The Honor Note 8 features a much better battery duration than Galaxy Note II, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Galaxy Note II is also by far the cheapest one, making this phone a great choice.
