Google Nexus 5 is slightly better than HTC 10, having a global score of 76 against 75.7. Even though the Google Nexus 5 is noticeably older than the HTC 10, it's construction is lighter and a bit thinner. The Google Nexus 5 features a little more vivid screen than HTC 10, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a little smaller screen and a bit lower screen density.
HTC 10 has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have equal internal storage, the HTC 10 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Google Nexus 5 features just a little better processing power than HTC 10, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a graphics co-processor.
The HTC 10 shoots greater photographs and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a way better resolution back camera, a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
HTC 10 features superior battery duration than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 30% larger battery size.
Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than HTC 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC 10. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Nexus 5, else you can save some money and buy the HTC 10, letting go some features and specifications.
