Samsung Epic 4G Touch has a score of 60.8, which is slightly better than HTC Amaze 4G's 59.8 global score. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch is a a lot lighter and thinner phone than HTC Amaze 4G, even though they were released only 1 months apart. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Epic 4G Touch has the newer 4.1.2 version and HTC Amaze 4G has Android 4.0 version, offering some nice extra features and performance tweaks.

The HTC Amaze 4G has a bit better CPU than Samsung Epic 4G Touch, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU and the same RAM amount, the HTC Amaze 4G also has an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch counts with a camera that is very similar to the camera in HTC Amaze 4G, both of them have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the same resolution camera and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
Samsung Epic 4G Touch has a bit longer battery life than HTC Amaze 4G, because it has a 4 percent larger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
