Comparison review
The Samsung Vibrant is slightly better than HTC Desire US, having a overall score of 55.4 against 50.6. Both of these phones have the same Android 2.2 OS (operating system), so both should give you identical operating system features. The Samsung Vibrant design is lighter and somewhat thinner than the HTC Desire US.
The HTC Desire US features a little sharper display than Samsung Vibrant, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 480, the HTC Desire US also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Vibrant has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC Desire US. Both of them have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB.
HTC Desire US features a little faster CPU than Samsung Vibrant, although it has a weaker GPU, they both have a Single-Core processing unit. The Samsung Vibrant takes much clearer photographs and videos than HTC Desire US. Both have a camera in the back with a 5 MP. Samsung Vibrant counts with a bit longer battery duration than HTC Desire US, because it has a 1500mAh battery capacity instead of 1400mAh.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Samsung Vibrant is also by far the cheapest one.
