HTC Desire US is a decent Android device, packing a 5 megapixels back-facing camera, a medium sized 3.7 inches multi-touch screen and a powerful 1000 megahertz processing unit.
HTC appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.76 ounces device.
HTC decided to power the HTC Desire US using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip, packing a powerful processing unit speeding at 1 gigahertz with 576 MB RAM. To handle graphic intensive tasks, the HTC Desire US also has an Adreno 200 graphic processing unit running at 128 megahertz.
HTC packed the HTC Desire US with a very good 3.7-inches screen, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes all photos and videos look colorful and brightful. This screen uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
This phone counts with wifi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Desire US works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.
This phone only features a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera. Additionally, the camera has flash.
This phone also includes a couple useful features as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone uses a good 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is quite low for a consuming device like this. HTC informs a 360 hs stand by time and a 6.5 hs talk time for this cellphone.
HTC is offering this phone for $ 349, which is not a good offer for this kind of phone.
