HTC Merge is a bit better than Samsung Wave Y, having a general score of 49.5 against 46.6. The HTC Merge design is thicker and way heavier than Samsung Wave Y. HTC Merge works with Android 2.3 OS, while Samsung Wave Y works with bada 2.0 OS. HTC Merge features just a bit better screen than Samsung Wave Y, because it has a lot better 800 x 480 resolution, a greater pixels density and a bigger screen.

The HTC Merge and the Samsung Wave Y count with incredibly similar CPUs, and although the Samsung Wave Y has a better 320 megahertz graphics processing unit, they both have a Single-Core processor. HTC Merge counts with a better camera than Samsung Wave Y, because it has a camera in the back with lot more MP and a way better 1280x720 (HD) video quality.

The HTC Merge features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Wave Y, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. HTC Merge features just a little better battery duration than Samsung Wave Y, because it has a 17 percent more battery capacity.
