Xperia XZ1 has a global score of 78.3, which is a bit better than the HTC One (M8)'s 71.6 global score. Xperia XZ1's design is a lot newer, just a bit lighter and noticeably thinner than the HTC One (M8). The Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit superior CPU than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.

The HTC One (M8) counts with a better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ1, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 resolution, the HTC One (M8) also counts with a just a bit better pixel count in each inch in the screen. The Sony Xperia XZ1 has a lot bigger storage to store more games and applications than HTC One (M8), because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 shoots a lot better videos and photos than HTC One (M8), and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a way bigger camera sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.

Xperia XZ1 has just a bit better battery life than HTC One (M8), because it has a 2700mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.

In addition to being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Xperia XZ1 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, making it a no doubt choice.
