The OnePlus 8 UW has an overall score of 75.9, which is a little bit better than HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 general score. The OnePlus 8 UW construction is notably newer and thinner, but somewhat heavier than HTC One (M8). These phones have Android operating system, but OnePlus 8 UW has newer 10 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, giving a lot of extra features.
The HTC One (M8) counts with a little sharper display than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen pixels density. The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a little bit better performance than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 UW features a greater camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a back camera with lot more mega-pixels, a way higher (4K) video definition, a bigger aperture for better low-light images and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor. The OnePlus 8 UW has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a superior battery duration than HTC One (M8), because it has a 65 percent larger battery capacity.
Although OnePlus 8 UW is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One (M8). So if you want that extra features, you can buy OnePlus 8 UW, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the HTC One (M8), letting go a couple features and specs.
