Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is better than the HTC One (M8), having a score of 81.7 against 71.9. Samsung Galaxy S8 is a much newer phone, and it is also a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than HTC One (M8). The HTC One (M8) features a bit better processing power than Galaxy S8, because although it has 4 less cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.

The HTC One (M8) has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy S8, although it has a little bit lower screen density, a quite smaller display and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than HTC One (M8), because it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy S8 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than HTC One (M8), because it has a way better (4K) video quality, a bigger camera aperture, a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors. Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 15 percent bigger battery size.

Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is also a bargain compared to others, which makes it an obvious call.
