The Sony Xperia 5 III has a general score of 90.5, which is much better than the HTC One (M8)'s overall score of 71.9. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Sony Xperia 5 III has a newer 11 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version. Even though the Sony Xperia 5 III is a bit heavier than HTC One (M8), it's somewhat thinner and also newer.
