Comparison review

Sony Xperia Z5 is just a bit better than HTC One (M8), with a general score of 77.6 against 71.9. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia Z5 has a more recent 5.1 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, so it provides you a couple additional features. The Sony Xperia Z5 is a newer cellphone, and it is also just a bit lighter and extremely thinner than the HTC One (M8).

The Sony Xperia Z5 and HTC One (M8) have incredibly similar displays, because although the Sony Xperia Z5 has a just a bit less pixels per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a bit bigger display. The Xperia Z5's CPU is just as good as HTC One (M8)'s processor, and although the Xperia Z5 has a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores , they both have a 450 megahertz graphics processor.

The Sony Xperia Z5 shoots much clearer videos and photos than HTC One (M8), because it has a bigger camera aperture, a much higher resolution camera in the back, a way larger back-facing camera sensor capturing way better quality videos and photographs and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

Xperia Z5 has slightly more storage capacity for games and applications than HTC One (M8), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Xperia Z5 also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB. Sony Xperia Z5 features a little better battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 12 percent greater battery capacity.

Xperia Z5 is more expensive than HTC One (M8), but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
