Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has an overall score of 77.5, which is slightly better than the HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 score. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 body is much newer and thinner than HTC One (M8)'s, but it's also noticeably heavier. HTC One (M8) counts with a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM and less CPU cores , it also counts with an additional GPU.
The HTC One (M8) has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the HTC One (M8) also counts with a better display pixel density. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 shoots better pictures and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much higher 12 mega pixels resolution camera, a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and a way better (4K) video definition.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features much more storage to install games and applications than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a really longer battery life than HTC One (M8), because it has a 104% more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also a bit cheaper.
