Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 7 has 13 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides you some additional features and increased performance. The Asus ROG Phone 7 body is noticeably newer, but way heavier and a little bit thicker than the HTC One M9.
