Motorola Edge (2022) is a little bit better than HTC One M9, with an 84.7 score against 77.7. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Motorola Edge (2022) has a more recent 12 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0. The Motorola Edge (2022) body is incredibly newer and thinner than the HTC One M9's, but it's just a little bit heavier.
HTC One M9 counts with a bit superior processor than Motorola Edge (2022), because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a graphics co-processor and a 64-bits CPU. HTC One M9 has a more vivid screen than Motorola Edge (2022), because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater number of pixels per inch in the screen.

Although Motorola Edge (2022) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Motorola Edge (2022), else you can save some dollars and get the HTC One M9, resigning a couple specs and features.
