HTC One M9 has a general score of 77.7, which is just a bit better than Moto Z2 Play's global score of 77.4. HTC One M9 is a notably older, notably thicker and just a little bit heavier phone than Moto Z2 Play. HTC One M9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a GPU and a 64-bit processor.
The HTC One M9 features a much better looking display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a bit greater pixel density.
