Both of these devices include Android OS, but Google Nexus 5 has the older 4.4.3 version and HTC One ME has Android 5.0 version. The Google Nexus 5 design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than HTC One ME, even though it was released just 19 months before.

Google Nexus 5 counts with just a little better processing power than HTC One ME, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores and an extra graphics processing unit. HTC One ME has a little more vivid display than Google Nexus 5, because it has a quite bigger display, more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px.

The HTC One ME features a very superior storage for apps and games than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the HTC One ME also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 2 TB. HTC One ME captures a bit better photos and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a bigger camera aperture, a way larger sensor, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back camera with much more mega-pixels.

Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC One ME, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One ME.
