Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 is a little bit better than HTC One ME, getting a 76 score against 73.5. OnePlus 8's body is way newer and thinner, but somewhat heavier than the HTC One ME. The OnePlus 8 features a faster processor than HTC One ME, because it has 5 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of cores.
The HTC One ME counts with a bit more vivid screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a greater display density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The HTC One ME has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than OnePlus 8, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 2 TB.
OnePlus 8 counts with a greater camera than HTC One ME, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also has a bigger camera aperture, a camera with a way better 48 MP resolution and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
OnePlus 8 has a much better battery life than HTC One ME, because it has a 51 percent more battery capacity.
Although OnePlus 8 is a better device, it is more expensive than the HTC One ME, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC One ME. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the OnePlus 8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the HTC One ME, giving up some specifications.
