The Motorola Droid X is just a bit better than HTC Salsa, with a global score of 53.7 against 49.1. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Droid X has an older 2.3 version while HTC Salsa has Android 2.3.3. Although Motorola Droid X and HTC Salsa were released with only 8 months difference, the Motorola Droid X construction is somewhat thinner but way heavier.
The Motorola Droid X features just a bit better hardware performance than HTC Salsa, although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Motorola Droid X has a much better screen than HTC Salsa, because it has a bigger screen, a lot higher 854 x 480 resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.
Motorola Droid X has a much bigger storage for games and applications than HTC Salsa, and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Motorola Droid X also has 6,66 GB internal memory. Motorola Droid X has just a little bit longer battery duration than HTC Salsa, because it has a 1540mAh battery capacity.
The Motorola Droid X has a much better camera than HTC Salsa, because it has a back camera with lot more megapixels.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Motorola Droid X is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
