Motorola Droid X Review

(ME811, MB810) Score: 53.7 / 100

Motorola Droid X is a decently made phone launched back in the year 2010, counting with an 8 megapixels back facing camera, a 4.3 inches touch-screen and a great performance CPU ticking at 1 gigahertz.

The Motorola Droid X doesn't feel very lightweight comparing to other cellphones , with a weight of 5.47 oz. This phone is just 0.39 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones on sale.

Motorola equipped this device with a good level 4.3" display, and a 854 x 480 resolution, which makes all pictures and movies look vivid. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

The Motorola Droid X is powered by a great performance 1 gigahertz CPU with 512 MB of RAM. This device counts with an average 6,66 GB internal storage memory, which is enough for most users considering that it also has a slot for an external memory card .

This cellphone has WiFi connectivity (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G internet connection, supported by EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM networks and it works in CDMA carriers.

This device is equipped with only an 8 MP back-facing camera. It is capable of capturing HD 1280x720 videos at 30 fps. This cellphone also includes a couple of nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

This phone also includes a handful of interesting features like Bluetooth (enables communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This device packs a 1540 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will probably need to charge it if you use it heavily. Motorola claims this device has a 8 hours talk time and a 220 hs stand by time.

This phone costs about 90 dollars, which is not a good offer for this type of phone. If you need a cellphone majorly for internet broswing and social networks, you will definitely be very satisfied with it.
