Samsung Focus is a solid Windows Phone 7.5 Mango phone launched back in 2010, featuring a 5 MP back camera, a great performance 1 GHz processor and a 4-inches multi-touch screen.
Samsung decided to design the Samsung Focus using a great performance 1000 megahertz processor, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip with 512 MB of RAM memory. Graphic calculations usually eats lots of CPU time, so it also has an extra Adreno 200 GPU speeding at 128 MHz to help the processor with those tasks. This device has an 8 GB interesting internal storage memory and an external memory slot, allowing you to store a couple hundred apps without any problem.
The Samsung Focus is extremely thin and comfortable, being just 0.39 inches thick. Samsung has made a very nice job making this cellphone weight just 4.07 oz.
This cellphone includes a good level 800 x 480 4-inches display, which makes all photos and movies look very good. This display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
The Samsung Focus only features a 5 megapixels back side camera. It can also shoot videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 23 frames per second. In addition, the camera counts with flash.
This cellphone provides wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card for GSM services.
The Samsung Focus counts with a 1500 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage. According to Samsung, the Samsung Focus has a reported talk time of 6.5 hours and a stand by time of 300 hs.
This phone also includes a couple useful features such as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
Samsung offers this phone for $ 85, which is rather expensive for this type of phone. If you want a phone to majorly use social networks and internet browsing, you will definitely be very pleased with it.
