Comparison review
The Samsung Epic 4G is slightly better than HTC Salsa, with a 53.9 score against 49.1. Both devices we are comparing include Android operating system, but Samsung Epic 4G has the older 2.3 version while HTC Salsa has Android 2.3.3 version. Although Samsung Epic 4G is a better cellphone than the HTC Salsa, we must highlight that it's also a thicker and extremely heavier cellphone.
The Samsung Epic 4G has a sharper display than HTC Salsa, because it has a way higher 800 x 480 resolution, a larger display and a greater display density. HTC Salsa features much more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Epic 4G. Both of them have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB.
Samsung Epic 4G counts with just a bit better performance than HTC Salsa, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Epic 4G also has a better graphics processor running at 200 MHz. Samsung Epic 4G's battery performance is very similar to the battery life in HTC Salsa, although the Samsung Epic 4G has just 1500mAh of battery size.
Samsung Epic 4G has a much better camera than HTC Salsa. Both have a same resolution camera.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Samsung Epic 4G is also very cheap compared to the other devices, making it very easy to pick between these devices.
