Panasonic ELUGA is a bit better than the HTC Status, having a 53.8 score against 49. Although Panasonic ELUGA and HTC Status were only released 8 months apart, Panasonic ELUGA is extremely thinner and somewhat lighter. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Panasonic ELUGA has a newer 2.3.5 version and HTC Status has Android 2.3.3.
Panasonic ELUGA counts with a greater processing power than HTC Status, because it has a graphics co-processor, a higher number of faster cores and more RAM. Panasonic ELUGA counts with a better looking screen than HTC Status, because it has a quite higher screen pixel density, a lot larger display and a lot better 960 x 540 resolution.
Panasonic ELUGA counts with a much bigger memory for applications and games than HTC Status, although it has no external SD slot. The HTC Status counts with a little longer battery life than Panasonic ELUGA, because it has a 1250mAh battery capacity. The HTC Status and the Panasonic ELUGA both have really similar cameras, although the Panasonic ELUGA also has a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Panasonic ELUGA is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
