HTC Status Review

HTC Status is a not so powerful Android cellphone released many years ago, having a CPU speeding at 800 megahertz, a small sized 2.6 inches touch-screen, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera.

HTC decided to equip this cellphone with a good 800 megahertz CPU with 512 MB RAM memory.

This time, it seems like HTC didn't care so much about the weight in this 4.23 ounces phone. The HTC Status is quite thin and comfortable, even though it's not so thin as many other cellphones in the market, with a thickness of 0.42". The HTC Status isn't a compact cellphone, considering it is 4.5" long and 2.54 inches wide,but it only packs a 2.6" display.

This phone features two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera. The camera also features auto-focus and flash.

HTC equipped this device with a good looking 2.6-inches display, and a 320 x 480 resolution, making everything look beautiful.

This cellphone uses a mid capacity 1250 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this device running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily.

This cellphone counts with WiFi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC Status uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The HTC Status also features a handful of nice features like Bluetooth and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

HTC is offering this phone for 269 dollars, which is a really high price for a phone this level.
