HTC Inspire 4G Review

HTC Inspire 4G is a mid level cellphone launched back in 2011, featuring a 4.3 inches multi touch capacitive display, a good performance processor speeding at 1000 MHz and an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera. Let's take a better look at what this phone offers to us.

This phone ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8255 system chip, backed up by a great performance processing unit ticking at 1000 megahertz and 768 MB RAM. Graphic rendering often eats lots of CPU time, so this cellphone uses an extra 245 MHz Adreno 205 graphic processing unit to take some work out of the processor. This device has an average 4 GB internal storage memory, which is fine knowing that this phone also has a slot for external memory cards .

HTC appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 5.78 ounces phone. This phone is a very compact cellphone, taking into consideration it has a 4.3 inches screen and it's only 4.84" long and 2.68" wide. While this cellphone is very thin and comfortable it's not close to being one of the thinnest cellphones currently available, with a thickness of 0.46".

The HTC Inspire 4G is only equipped with an 8 megapixels back side camera. It can also capture videos up to 1280x720 (HD). This device also counts with a couple of good features like flash, auto-focus, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

This device is equipped with a good looking 4.3 inches screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes it hard to see the pixels composing the screen. This screen uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This phone features a medium sized 1230 mAh Li-Ion battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it even after moderate usage. HTC claims this device has a stand by time of 372 hs and a talk time of 6 hours.

This phone provides Wi-Fi connectivity (which can be shared with other devices around, acting as a router or modem) and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

This phone also features a couple cool features like Bluetooth (allows communication with other phones, computers and accessories), GPS Geolocation and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

HTC sells this cellphone for $ 210, which is a really high price for this kind of cellphone.
