The Samsung Galaxy Note5 is a little bit better than HTC U Ultra, getting an 80.2 score against 77. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 body is a bit thinner than HTC U Ultra, although it's just a little heavier and was released a bit more further than a year before. Samsung Galaxy Note5 counts with a bit better display than HTC U Ultra. Both of them have the same pixels density, the same resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a same size screen.
Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a bit faster CPU than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note5 also has 4 more CPU cores (although slower). The Samsung Galaxy Note5 captures clearer photos and videos than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing images and videos in low light situations and a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality images and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note5 also counts with a camera with lot more mega-pixels.
HTC U Ultra has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the HTC U Ultra also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Note5 has a battery performance that's just as good as the HTC U Ultra one.
