The Google Pixel 3a is a bit better than HTC U12 Life, with a score of 78.8 against 74.4. Even though Google Pixel 3a and the HTC U12 Life were released only a couple months apart, Google Pixel 3a is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Google Pixel 3a has older 11 version while HTC U12 Life has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Google Pixel 3a counts with just a bit better looking display than HTC U12 Life, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2220px and a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. The HTC U12 Life features longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
The Google Pixel 3a features a bit better camera than HTC U12 Life, because although it has a camera in the back with much less mega pixels and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better photos and videos in low light environments.
