Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a score of 85, which is much better than HTC U12 Life's overall score of 74.4. Both phones we compare here have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while HTC U12 Life has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Samsung Galaxy M40 is a newer phone, and it is also a little bit lighter and a little thinner than HTC U12 Life.
The Galaxy M40 counts with a bit better CPU than HTC U12 Life, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M40 also has more RAM. Samsung Galaxy M40 has a little more vivid screen than HTC U12 Life, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340, a bit larger screen and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Galaxy M40 has a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC U12 Life, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy M40 shoots much better videos and photos than HTC U12 Life, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a much more mega pixels back facing camera and a larger aperture to take better photography in low-light environments.
HTC U12 Life counts with a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
