Samsung Galaxy S6 is better than HTC U12 Life, having a overall score of 87.4 against 74.4. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has the previous 5.0 version and HTC U12 Life has Android 8.1 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy S6's construction is somewhat thinner and lighter than the HTC U12 Life, even though it was released many years before.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a greater performance than HTC U12 Life, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bits CPU. Samsung Galaxy S6 features a way better display than HTC U12 Life, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a greater pixels amount in each inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy S6 has just a bit more memory capacity to install games and applications than HTC U12 Life, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory. The HTC U12 Life features a very superior battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy S6 shoots slightly better videos and photos than HTC U12 Life, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy S6 also has a larger aperture.
