Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is just a bit better than the HTC U12 Life, with a 77.6 score against 74.4. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has older 12 version and HTC U12 Life has Android 8.1 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro's construction is noticeably newer than HTC U12 Life's, but it is incredibly heavier and thicker.

The HTC U12 Life counts with a lot better hardware performance than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The HTC U12 Life has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better number of pixels per display inch.

The HTC U12 Life has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting images in poorly lited environments and a back facing camera with way less mega pixels. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than HTC U12 Life, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1 TB and more internal storage.

Galaxy XCover 6 Pro counts with just a bit longer battery duration than HTC U12 Life, because it has a 4050mAh battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
