Samsung Galaxy A50 has a global score of 83.8, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro's 82.9 overall score. Even though Samsung Galaxy A50 and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro were released only a couple months apart, Samsung Galaxy A50 is lighter and thinner. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A50, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a greater display pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120px. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a superior camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a much bigger sensor, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot more MP back camera.
