Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the LG G3's global score of 76.4. Huawei Mate 20's design is much newer and just a bit thinner than the LG G3's, but it's notably heavier. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 20 has 9.0 Pie version while LG G3 has Android 5.0.
The LG G3 counts with a sharper screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a quite smaller display and much worse brightness, it also counts with a better pixels quantity per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440. The LG G3 counts with a processing unit that's very similar to the Huawei Mate 20 one, because although the LG G3 has lesser and slower cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Huawei Mate 20 features a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G3, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 has longer battery duration than LG G3, because it has a 33% more battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a slightly better camera than LG G3, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video quality and a camera with less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot bigger aperture to capture better images and video in low-light situations.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the LG G3, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
