Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro has a score of 88.2, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 30 5G's 87.4 score. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features. Even being the best device in our current comparison, the Huawei P40 Pro is an a little heavier and a little bit thicker device than the Huawei Mate 30 5G.
Huawei Mate 30 5G and Huawei P40 Pro both feature very similar processors, both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 30 5G, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a just a bit better display pixel density and a quite better resolution of 1200 x 2640px.
The Huawei P40 Pro features as much memory for games and applications as the Huawei Mate 30 5G one, they have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos and a more megapixels back facing camera.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a battery life that's very similar to the battery lifetime in Huawei Mate 30 5G.
