Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has an overall score of 90.5, which is much better than the Honor 50 Pro's 77 overall score. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has the older 10 version while Honor 50 Pro has Android 11 version. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is an older, somewhat thicker and just a little heavier cellphone than the Honor 50 Pro.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G counts with a bit better processor than Honor 50 Pro. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 8 GB RAM. The Honor 50 Pro counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because it has a little bigger display, a just a little higher screen density and a slightly better 1236 x 2676 pixels resolution.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Honor 50 Pro count with quite similar memory capacity to install games and applications, both have the same internal memory. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Honor 50 Pro both feature very similar cameras, because although the Honor 50 Pro has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing photos or video in poorly lited environments and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher 108 megapixels resolution.

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a little longer battery life than Honor 50 Pro, because it has a 13% bigger battery capacity.
