Comparison review
Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a general score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than iPhone 8's 85 general score. Huawei Mate 30 Pro's construction is much newer than the iPhone 8's, but it is somewhat thicker and notably heavier. IPhone 8 has a display that's very similar to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro one, although the iPhone 8 has a way worse 750 x 1334 resolution, a way smaller display and a just a little less pixels per inch of display.
The iPhone 8 features just a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores, it also counts with a 64-bit processor. IPhone 8's memory to store more games and applications is very similar to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro one, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a much better camera than iPhone 8, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same video quality, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has a bigger diafragm aperture, a lot larger sensor capturing way better quality videos and pictures and a back facing camera with a way higher 40 mega pixels resolution.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a superior battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has a 147 percent bigger battery capacity.
