The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a general score of 87.1, which is better than the Huawei P20's global score of 78.1. These devices work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 30 Pro has 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is newer than Huawei P20, it's somewhat heavier and thicker.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a little faster CPU than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
