Comparison review
Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design is much better than Motorola Edge 40, getting a global score of 85.2 against 77.2. Although it's the best phone we compare here, the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design body is a lot older, just a little heavier and just a bit thicker than the Motorola Edge 40. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS, but the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, providing some nice extra features and a performance increase.
Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design has a very superior processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bit bigger screen.
The Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design has a superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 128 GB more internal memory capacity. Motorola Edge 40 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, because it has a 10% more battery size.
The Motorola Edge 40 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much larger diafragm aperture to capture better images in poorly lited environments, a higher 50 MP resolution camera in the back and a bigger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality.
