Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5, getting an 85.2 score against 80.8. Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design's body is newer than the Galaxy S5's, although it is incredibly heavier and a little thicker. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2.
Galaxy S5 counts with just a little better processing power than Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, because although it has less cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S5 has a much better display than Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a lot lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density.
Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design also has a larger diafragm aperture, a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way better 40 megapixels resolution back camera.
The Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
